WHY Podbean

This podbean has been established by Duane B Thomas, MBA, for multiple reasons, predominantly three: Resource Center, Communities and Students.
Resource Center: Many of the items included are current endeavors either developed or UNDER CONSTRUCTION based upon experiences in entrepreneurship, management, and marketing.
More specifically, twenty years experience comprised of concept development, operational development / implementation, management, local-store marketing, financial strategy / analysis, employee management / development, customer satisfaction. Consulting services to small businesses for fifteen years. Education and training to public (University faculty member) and within private sector ten years. MBA in business administration from Marshall University.
Communities: Providing leadership resources, education and networking opportunities in community and economic development within the borders of West Virginia and beyond through AppaPhil.
Students: Currently, courses are being taught on the undergraduate level at Marshall University. This weblog will allow communication between the instructor and students relating to the courses; in essence an online discussion board.
